Founded in 1982, DLA started as a part time business as Dave's Lock Service, specializing in locksmith services and access control systems in the Southern Maryland area. By 1985 DLA expanded that business from part to full time operation. By 1986 DLA added Burglar and Fire alarm systems along with Closed Circuit TV. DLA now handle a complete line of Burglar, Fire, Hold Up, and Medical alarm systems, Locks, Closed Circuit TV, Access Control, Central Vacuum Cleaners, Intercom, Home Theater, Home Automation systems, Smart house, Structured and Network wiring. DLA have installed systems from as big as one of the Watergate buildings to as small as a gas station Kiosk. Every customer is treated with our utmost attention to detail. DLA has NICET certified installers for Fire alarm systems, testing, & maintenance for low and high end fire alarm systems. 2007 marked DLA's 25th year serving Charles, St. Mary's, Prince Georges, Calvert, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore Counties as well as the rest of the Washington Metropolitan area.
